Storage and Retrieval
Most items are held at my bank in safe deposit boxes. After I scan a group of documents I
return them to my safe deposit boxes. I will again have to visit the bank to retrieve them when
a purchase is made. When I deposit your payment I will retrieve your items; however, they will
be shipped after the waiting period for payment clearance; outlined below.

Payment
PayPal: I accept PayPal for payments sent to
wurdsalid@bellsouth.net OR socchop@bellsouth.net.
PayPal will process balances in your account, as well as credit cards and
your bank account if you desire. I will never see your account information.
PayPal payments: When you use PayPal and you SEND MONEY please
ensure to send it by Paying for A Good or Service in the second step.
Best to wait for my invoice before sending payment.
If you do not, I am not able to print your mailing label. If that happens I will
return the payment and ask you to pay using payment for a Good or Service.
Please follow the same procedure for other payments outlined under the ORDERING tab.

USPS Money Order or CHECK: I will ship your order to the name and address
on the check or money order. PayPal orders will be shipped to the name and address you
have registered with PayPal. If you pay by Cash (not recommended as it is easily pilfered
in your mailbox or mine) ensure you include a copy of the invoice.
I accept personal checks if you have your name, address and telephone number and / or email address imprinted on the check. I also accept bank cashier checks if you include your complete address and telephone number or email address. All checks must be drawn on a bank in the United States. I also accept USPS Postal Money Orders if you include your name and your complete address and telephone number or email address. I do not accept business checks. If
you pay by cash I recommend sending it via registered mail. Cash is accepted; however, not recommended as it is easily pilfered. Also, cash does not provide you with a "receipt".
The invoice will have my PAYMENT address.
Prompt payment appreciated. Payments not received within seven days of the emailed
invoice may result in your item(s) being relisted and sold to another buyer. If you
encounter a delay, please send me an email.

I ship using USPS First Class or Priority Mail.
I will not entertain pickup under any circumstances. All items will be shipped via USPS. If you have questions regarding my integrity you may visit eBay and look up my user ID of mar-al. As my exposure increases on this site, less will be on eBay.
Priority Mail in the United States includes $50.00 insurance at no additional cost. Additional insurance for coverage over $50.00 is optional. It is rare to have loss or damage occur; however, it is possible. I am not liable for any loss or damage after I deliver the shipment to the Post Office, during shipping or at the destination. All shipments, if insured, will be insured for the purchase amount only. USPS does not allow insurance to cover anything other than the contents of a shipment. Priority Mail always includes a tracking number. First Class Mail will be used for light weight items IF PayPal is used. That will allow me to mail this way at less cost and it will include a tracking number as in Priority Mail. I will bill shipping for items that fit the requirements for First Class Mail IF PayPal is used as the payment method.
All shipping will be in rigid cardboard mailers or Kraft envelopes with cardboard used to stiffen the shipment. I also use paper or plastic protectors as needed. Corrugated cardboard flats are used to stiffen the smaller packages. Large lots will be boxed and secured to minimize movement in transit. I charge actual shipping cost plus optional insurance if applicable. I do not charge for shipping folders, boxes, or shipping supplies. All shipments will be delivered in person to the local Post Office. This way I can obtain a receipt that the postage and fees are correct as well as proof of shipment to track your item if not received by you.
Time to Clear: PayPal payments of all types will have your order shipped within three days after it clears my PayPal account. If paid by personal check or bank cashier check I will ship your purchase ten - fourteen business days after I receive and deposit your check.
